Mid-Summer News from Your SA Dance Team

*Hope everyone’s summer is going good.  Ours has been filled with daily practices, nightly baseball games, too many hot dogs to count and time at the pool.  I thought I would stop by and give you the latest updates from the dance team. 

*Do you have a dirty vehicle?  Well, bring it on down to Sears Automotive this Saturday  from 8 a.m. to noon, where the DT ladies will be up early working hard to get your vehicles clean.  Cost is a donation to the team and the girls would love to see as many of you as possible.  No vehicle is too dirty for this team to handle!  Can’t make it this Saturday, well you will have at least one more opportunity for your car to get a good scrubbing, come see the team on Sunday, July 16^th at Little Blessings Daycare from 8 a.m. to noon.

*The team is gearing up for a busy week.  July 15^th, the team has been invited to perform in the Earling, Iowa church festival.  They will be marching in the parade as well as performing at the festival.  Sunday, July 16^th, the girls will be having their bonding night as another way of preparing for camp.  This night usually begins with dinner at Coach Kathie Guinan’s and then it’s on to some additional fun activities and an overnighter for the team.  Speaking of camp, this year the team will be attending the Iowa State Dance Camp, in Ames, Iowa.  The team will be leaving, Wednesday, July 19^th and returning home with hopefully many awards on Saturday, July 22nd.  The team will take a short break and then they will be back to daily 6:30 a.m. practices preparing for football season and state competition.
