Fred Wager (holding ball) was a 1976 Saint Albert graduate who passed at an early age after a brief illness. He was a good, quiet young man who was a great left handed bowler. Your Ken Mehsling Saintes Most Valuable Bowlers were Alexis Narmi (Fr) and Madilynn Myers (So). This is the first year for the award and it's named after the founder of modern day Saint Albert Bowling, Coach Mehsling (shown) who retired last year. Coach Mehsling restarted the bowling program in the late 1990's/early 2000's. 1.22.21 Selfless Falcons Fly to Another New School Record: (L-R): Assistant Coach Justin Pekny, Evan White (Fr), Cole Pekny (Fr), Jackson Wigington (So), Jake Denny (Sr), Adam Denny (So), Hayden Piskorski (Jr) and Head Coach Mike Klusman. Normal varsity starters, Quinten Julian (Jr) and Nate Kay (Jr) volunteered to head to the JV Friday so the Falcons could get a couple of other guys into the Varsity lineup just in case they're needed in this crazy covid year. All the new lineup did was set a school record of 3,184 pins!! Falcons 3,184 Tri-Center 2,237 Falcon JV 2,672 The Falcons are now 16-0 on the year!!! ---------- Saintes 2,103 Tri-Center 1,643 It was a possible school record for the Saintes and the first time they've been over 2,000 this season!
