Class of 1968 Donates Girls Golf Bags
The Class of 1968, the first class to start and graduate from Saint Albert High School, raised $585 to donate to the girls golf team in memory of their classmate Jonette Beaver-Wylie. Jonette fought a courageous battle against cancer, but passed away in 2010.
The girls in the Class of 1968 thought a donation to the golf team in memory of Jonette, an avid golfer, would be a wonderful way to remember her. After raising $585, the "'68 Girls" used this money to purchase new golf bags for the Saint Albert girls golf team. Mary Kay (Stewart) Engdahl, Michealia (Boysen) Van Scoy, and Jean (Mathiasen) Regan presented the golf bags to the team on behalf on the Class of 1968.
