Saintes Tennis-20222023 St. Albert Girls Tennis Team 2022 Success Great work Tuesday by the Falcons & Saintes at State Co-Ed Tennis! Allison Narmi & Dan McGrath and Landry Miller & Carter White competed in the only High School State Co-Ed Tennis Tourney in the Country. Landry & Carter made it to the Quarters and had wins over Kuemper Catholic and Ballard. Allison & Dan had wins over Ballard, Waverly-Shell Rock and Newton! -- State Day 2: Allison Narmi & Landry Miller in the State Tennis Tournament in the Medal Round at The University of Iowa: Narmi & Miller were down 8-2 (first to 10, win by 2) in their 3rd set tiebreaker and came-back to win 11-9! They then won Saturday afternoon 6-3, 6-3 to take 5th place!! They go back-to-back 5th place at State and are the only Saintes to ever medal at the State Tourney! Allison & Landry finish 41-2 over the last two seasons, with their only losses coming in the 2nd round at the State Tournament! They finish with an 8-2 State Tournament Record! Congratulations on a wonderful run, Saintes!! ![]() Saintes Shine at Conference Coach White, Coach Lear, Lily Barnes, Mari Valdivia, Georgie Bohnet, Alexis Narmi, Landry Miller, Allison Narmi, Coach Oltmans-Miller and Coach White. The 2021 Hawkeye 10 Conference Champions finished Runner-Up at this years Conference Tourney! This is a back-to-back top 2-finish at the Conference Tournament. The Saintes finished with their highest point total ever (22), with all the Saintes medaling finishing 5th or better for the first time in school history! Our sisters at Kuemper Catholic were the Conference Champion. The Saintes lone Senior, Allison Narmi was the #2 Singles Champion! Sophomores Georgie Bohnet & Alexis Narmi were 3rd at #1 Doubles after getting beat in extra games by the back-to-back champions from Clarinda. Landy Miller (Jr) was a solid 5th at #1 Singles after being seeded 8th. They were 4-1 at the State Tournament with wins over LeMars, Ballard, Union, and Decorah, and were 20-1 on the season!! This Season, Landry won the #1 Singles Council Bluffs City Tournament; won the #1 Singles Shenandoah Fillies Invitational; and was the #1 Singles Hawkeye-10 Runner-Up. Landry finished with a Singles Record of 16-3. This Season, Allison won the #2 Singles Hawkeye-10 Tournament and the #2 Singles Shenandoah Fillies Tournament. Allison finished 2nd in the entire State in total Match Victories at #2 Singles, with a Singles Record of 16-3. In addition, Landry and Allison teamed up to win the #1 Doubles Council Bluffs City Tournament, and were also a part of St. Albert's First Team Hawkeye-10 Tennis Championship in school history!
