Back at it!  On Wednesday Kevin Nielsen, Joe Nicholas & The Madstatter departed CB to rejoin RAGBRAI. Kevin drove us through Marshalltown, Traer, Hudson & Cedar Falls. We hung with Shane Elbert, husband of Nicole Schwartz ('07) & stayed with work friends. Fun.

Met Fr. Ray Atwick of Sacred Heart Parish in LaPorteCity. He blessed our journey.

We lunched on BLTs at the RonDaVoo in Vinton and met fan of famed E. Central Iowa newspaper publisher, Jim Magdafrau.

Is it just us, or is there a rule that  skinny handymen must wear pliers in leather holder on belt or waist band? It's a small town thing.

The famed Pork Chop Man puts out a lot of what we believe is non-carcinogenic smoke.

At the home of Kevin & Sarah (Vogel) Lukan ('02) & girls & pooch was a fantastic stop after 76 miles of cycling. After grill repair, dinner was on.

Tomorrow we ride to Iowa City area.
