Former St. Albert runner Brian Respeliers, a Junior at Central College in Pella, IA, claimed the men's 800 meters title at Grinnell Saturday in 1:53.69. That time is less than one-tenth of a second away from the NCAA provisional standard.

The former Falcon also captured the 1500 meter title a week earlier at the Loras Mid-Week Invitational with an outstanding time of 3:58.46. Keep an eye out for this man as he attempts to make it to the NCAA's this season.
