And make it to State with a 9-2 win over the Trojans!!!
Reports are that it was one of the best crowds in St. Albert history (boys or girls) to see a soccer match!
The Saintes mob AD, Ken Schreiber, to get ANOTHER banner!
Faye Assmann led the Saintes with 2 assists, Jen Rew & Karissa Herrington also each had one. Alli Cox had 4 goals, Faye Assmann had 2, Chloe Meyer had 1 along with Jen Rew & Felicia Roppe. Huge games were also played by Libby Mattingly & Meyer.
How good was the Saintes Monday night? The State's leading scorer, the great Kaylee Grote, had 48 goals in 14 games this year against teams not named St. Albert. She managed just 1 against the Saintes in 160 minutes of action this season.
Seniors, Nicole Jerdon & Karissa Herrington, become the 1st Seniors in Council Bluffs girls history to make it to State in 3 out of their 4 years!
And the Saintes become the 1st girls team in Council Bluffs history to make it to State in back to back years!!
