Saintes fall to 7-7

The Saintes took on Concordia Friday night (1/20) and ended up losing by a score of 45-17.  It's been a tough road the past few games - - after starting out the season 7-2 they now have dropped 5 in a row.  During that stretch, the Saintes have fallen to Wahoo-Neuman, Mo-Valley, AL, Lewis Central, and Concordia.  It's tough - nobody likes to lose, but you can tell that the girls are playing hard.  The defense is there, but offensively the team is struggling to score points... the shooting has been off.  The girls just have to keep believing in themselves and their coaches, work hard to improve on their game, and just keep battling.  That's what it takes to build a successful program.

On Monday night, 1/23, the Saintes travel to Columbus for their first game in the Centinnial Conference Tournament against Scotus.  Parents and SA supporters will be there supporting them and hoping for a win to put us back above .500 on the season.  If they win Monday they'll play again on Thursday.  If they happen to get beat, they'll lace 'em up again on Tuesday night.
