Saintes struggle at Tri-Center...

NEOLA - Tri-Center had three players in double figures as it topped St. Albert 74-38 Tuesday night in girls prep basketball action.

Leah Nielsen and Becky Barrier led the Trojans with 18 points each.

Alicia Fischer added 13 points and six steals for the Trojans.

Tri-Center head coach Mark Zulkoski credited improved ball handling in the win. "We only had 12 turnovers tonight, a vast improvement over the 35 we had in a game last weekend," said Zulkoski of the Trojans' 59-54 loss to Riverside.

Senior guard Gina Assmann led the Saintes with 15 points.
