St. Albert celebrated its final regular-season match
The Saintes, who have four seniors on the roster - Aileen Mooney, Meghan Crowley, Marissa Finn and Gina Assmann - sent the foursome out as winners on senior night at the school. "All four of them are definitely leaders," St. Albert coach Angie Lantz said.
After a tough game one, the Saintes pulled together with solid games two and three.
"I thought Glenwood played a great game tonight," Lantz said. "They play very well against us and we needed that going into districts."

Mooney, who was named honorable mention to the Centennial Conference Volleyball All-Tournament Team this weekend, led the Saintes with four aces, seven kills and also had three digs.

Crowley added three digs, Assmann had a dozen assists, two aces and four digs, while Finn chipped in with an ace and an assist in their final regular-season home match.

"I thought everybody played well," Lantz said. "We didn't have too many bumps in the road."

The Saintes return to the floor Wednesday as they take on Riverside to open the postseason.
