Moiser pushed the score to 17-7 at the half with a 52-yard field goal in the second quarter.

The Falcons (0-2) scored the game's first points, when Jeremy Schieffer rushed for a 69-yard run.

"He ran very well tonight," St. Albert assistant coach Vince Rew said.

St. Albert's defense was led by Chad Belt, who had 15 solo tackles and nine assisted tackles for the Falcons.

The Falcons open up district action next week against Underwood.

"It's a new start," Rew said. "For us it's good we start clean (in district play)."
