Iowa's new school choice program impacts Council Bluffs students, teachers and tuition

Council Bluffs Community School District's superintendent says because they lost 30 students to the ESA program, they're missing out on nearly a quarter million in funding. St. Albert Catholic says they're looking to grow. And the ESA program is their ticket to make it happen.

Local public schools say they're losing students and hundreds of thousands in funding because of Iowa's Education Savings Accounts.

It's the school choice program that allows public students to transfer to private schools and gives them $7,600 to do it.
