St. Albert faces road challenge in district finals

The St. Albert Falcons have faced, arguably, the toughest schedule in the state all season when it comes to Class 1A.

The Falcons won just seven regular season games, but did it in the Hawkeye Ten Conference against much bigger schools. Now, St. Albert has been faced with the task of getting through one of the toughest districts in the state.

The sixth-seeded Falcons beat 18-win West Monona in the first round on Thursday and now travel to 21-1 and Radio Iowa fourth-ranked Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto in a district semifinal on Tuesday.  Click HERE to read entire article
