School of Faith gives faculty a boost of religion

Even for Catholic school teachers, keeping up with their faith can sometimes become a bit of a hassle.

Between grading, lesson plans and parent-teacher conferences, it can be hard to find time to study Scripture and further one’s connection with God. Omaha-area Catholic schools are trying to change that.

Seven Omaha-area schools in the Archdiocese of Omaha and one Council Bluffs school in the Diocese of Des Moines are finishing up their first year piloting a program from the Kansas City, Kan.-based School of Faith. The program is aimed at giving faculty members a monthly rejuvenation of Catholicism.
