Senior Lili Denton goes BACK-TO-BACK as the 2025 Class 1A State Champion, breaking her own state record with an incredible time of 17:56.6 👑💪
What makes it even more impressive? Lili was sick earlier this week and had to miss school and her final volleyball match — yet still went on to dominate. She finishes her two-year cross country career undefeated (17-0) and becomes St. Albert’s first ever back-to-back State Champion. She has just cemented her place as one of the greatest high school cross country runners in Council Bluffs history.
Junior Jackson Walter also represented St. Albert with pride, placing 32nd overall with a time of 17:11.9 🔥 This is Jackson’s THIRD straight State Cross Country appearance, and will run for a 4-peat Qualifier next year!!
Two incredible performances at the State Cross Country Meet in Fort Dodge — congratulations to both athletes and the entire coaching staff on an unforgettable season!
