John De Vivo

John Michael De Vivo, age 59, of Blair, Neb., passed away April 17, 2015, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, after an extended illness.

John was born October 17, 1955, in Council Bluffs, to Frank and Doris (Ellis) De Vivo. He attended Holy Family Grade School, St. Albert High School and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1974.

John was preceded in death by his father, Frank H. De Vivo in 2012; in-laws, Norman and Janet Crane; sister-in-law, Leslie Crane.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Laurie (Crane) De Vivo, of Blair; son, Luke (Heather) De Vivo, of Omaha; daughters, Heather (K.C.) Winz, Shannon De Vivo, all of Blair; 6 grandchildren; mother, Doris De Vivo; sisters, Patricia Holder, Nanci Schnitker, all of Council Bluffs; brother, Steven De Vivo, of Broken Arrow, Okla.; special brother-in-law, Jack Holder, of Council Bluffs; sisters-in-law, Julie Larm, Kristie (Calvin) Romrell; brother-in-law, Steven (Diane) Crane; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

John has been cremated. Inurnment of ashes will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. John's wishes were to be buried with his dad. There will be no visitation. Private family gathering.
