Bob MaskerThe St. Albert family is saddened by the loss of Bob Masker who passed away earlier this week.  Bob was a St. Albert Dad, Grandfather and supporter over the years.  Please pray for the repose of Bob's soul and for his entire family as well...

Eternal rest grant unto Bob o' Lord: And let perpetual light shine upon him.

Bob Masker

Robert J. "Bob" Masker Sr., age 84, Neola, Iowa, passed away April 15, 2015.

Bob was born July 5, 1930, at the family farm in Neola, to John B. and Vivian Talty Masker. He graduated from St. Joseph High in the class of 1947. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth "Betty" Alfers on November 29, 1950 in Neola. Bob is a member of St. Patrick's Parish, longtime 4-H Leader and lifetime farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; twin sister, Beverly Christiansen on January 20, 2015; sister, Eyleene Walter; brothers-in-law, Jerry Christiansen and Donald Dau; sister-in-law, Louise Alfers.

Survivors include wife of over 64 years, Elizabeth "Betty"; son, R. John Masker Jr. and wife, Debbie, all of Neola, Iowa; daughters, Cindy Watson, LuAnne Bissell and husband, Mike, all of Council Bluffs, Mary Florence McMahan and husband, Mike, of Omaha; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Lois Dau, of Osceola, Iowa; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Friday, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a Rosary Recitation at 6 pm. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, 11 a.m., all at St. Patrick's Church, Neola. Luncheon will follow the funeral mass at the church hall. Private family interment. Memorials to St. Patrick's Church, Neola, Iowa or the Neola Fire and Rescue.
