The St. Albert family mourns the passing of the great Father Jim Kiernan who passed away earlier this week.  Father was a former Principal, teacher & role model at St. Albert.  He was a Priest in the Diocese of Des Moines for 54 years and spent many years mentoring the people of Council Bluffs.  He loved his faith and the people of Iowa.  Please say a special prayer this week for Father Kiernan's family, for vocations in Southwest Iowa and for the repose of Father's soul...

Eternal rest grant unto Father Kiernan o' Lord: And let perpetual light shine upon him.

May Father Kiernan rest in peace. Amen

May Father's soul and the soul's of all the faithfully departed through the mercy of God our Father rest in peace. Amen
