Welcome Back Families - From President ConnollyPosted: 08/28/2015 - by Charlie NarmiDear Saint Albert Families, What a great start to the 2015-16 school year and the 51st year of Saint Albert Catholic School! Yesterday we celebrated Mass with grades K-12 as an entire school community and today we will celebrate a pep rally for fall sports.
I thank our teachers for their patience and guidance, especially these first few days of school as our students adjust to their schedules, their courses, and our newly renovated cradle to college campus. I also thank the parents for choosing to send your children to Saint Albert. Our students are among the brightest in Southwest Iowa and benefit from being part of a dynamic Catholic community where the love of learning and strong spirituality extends beyond the classroom to extracurricular activities, community service, and athletics. As students busy themselves with homework, musical rehearsals, sports practice and more, I want to remind our families of some upcoming events. With our newly renovated academic wings, our new middle school for 6-8th graders, our expanded course selection in the high school, we have a lot to be thankful for up on the Hill. Thanks to our faculty and staff, our parishes, and our families who work together to provide an outstanding Christ-centered education. I look forward to the 2015-16 academic year and continuing to follow the example of our patron, Saint Albert the Great, by inspirata magnus.Joe -- Joseph Connolly (Class of '75) President Saint Albert Catholic Schools (712) 329-9000 Extension 1 Follow saintalbertprez on Twitter for updates from Joe -ARCHIVES- |
