When it comes to high school football, these rankings don’t mean a whole heck of a lot – but they’re still pretty fun. Fun to look at, fun to prognosticate, fun for hyping certain games each week. Instead of calling Fremont-Mills just Fremont-Mills, we like to call them second-ranked (according to Radio Iowa) Fremont-Mills. Recently, a slew of preseason football rankings have been released by the Des Moines Register, Quad City Times, Cedar Rapids Gazette, Radio Iowa and IowaPreps.
