Three Heart Surgeries Can's Stop A Council Bluffs Baseball Player

He is determined to overcome obstacles, including three heart surgeries.

"Baseball has always been the goal so with that in mind it made it easier to work for and get back in shape," said Shea Patterson, Council Bluffs St. Albert shortstop.

The road to recovery after his latest heart surgery just 8 months ago wasn't easy, but he's well on his way back. He leads the Falcons in hits, games played, runs batted in, home runs, triples, and runs scored.
