Charlie's Prediction Time

Posted: 09/13/2019 - by Charlie Narmi

The Falcons gave an inspiring effort last week and showed plenty of fight, but ran out of gas late. That's not something you'd normally say or hear about a St. Albert team, but in the past we've rarely played up a couple of classes in football either.  Tonight the Falcons get a squad more their own size, but that's not to say it will be any easier.

Logan-Magnolia won one game last year - against St. Albert.  Need to know much more from either side? Nope, but I'll cover just a bit.

The Panthers are just like they always are - big upfront and small in the backfield.  Wrestlers playing linebacker on defense.  A great system program that will throw in a few tricks.  Think Army last week almost beating Michigan.  The Falcons are small upfront and have tremendous athletes that need to touch the ball and have amazing special teams.  Lo-Ma runs it great, St. Albert doesn't stop it great.  You get the point.

Quickly, a BIG thank you to the current Field Crew for their work the last 2 months! The Crew is stronger than ever and St. Albert Stadium looks great!! THANK YOU!!!

BC Moore has Lo-Ma favored by 8.5.  I've been told that locally in Council Bluffs it's the Falcons by 6.5.  Give me the Falcons giving the points finally playing in front of the The Faithful at good ol' Al Leber Field...
