Spring News from DT HeadquartersPosted: 03/07/2006 - byThe winter basketball games may be sadly over for the Falcons and Saintes and their fans, but that doesn't mean the Dance Team ladies stop dancing. The girls have been hard at it, practicing for their upcoming performance at the State Basketball Tourney in Des Moines. Team members have been asked to provide halftime entertainment at both the 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. games on Wednesday, March 8th. The team will perform their award winning jazz and pom routines. Just another opportunity for the team to shine, represent their school and Council Bluffs. This will be the last performance for our seniors as well. The ladies will have about a two week break and then it will be time for try-out week which begins March 27, with actual try-outs held on Saturday, April 1st. Any St. Albert girl, who will be a freshman, sophmore, junior or senior for school year 2006/2007 is invited to come to the informational meeting and try-out practices. Keep checking St. Albert Sports Fan for future info on Dance Team try-outs. Finally, I would like to take a moment to thank Coach Kathie Guinan and the DT members for an outstanding year, filled with so many memorable moments and performances. Your dedication and love for dance and each other make you the professional, outstanding team that you are. This is apparent not only in practice, community service and performances, but in your every day life. Keep dancin through life ladies! Stacy -ARCHIVES- |
