The new school year is quickly approaching which signals the beginning of football season. As many of you are aware, the junior high boys did not have enough players to have a team last year. Everyone affiliated with the school and program are certainly hoping that we have enough interested boys to field a team this year.

In speaking with Head Varsity Football Coach, Pat Ryan, he advised me that he has spoken with Athletic Director, Ken Schreiber. AD Schreiber has allowed us to contact Heartland Christian School and solicit players from their school to help us supplement players. Coach Ryan's contact with Heartland Christian's Athletic Director yielded the possibility of hope for approximately 6-8 players who may be interested.

I would encourage you to consider allowing your son(s) to play this year. We would hate to have another year lapse without a junior high football team who are able to participate. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact myself or Coach Ryan.

If your son is interested in playing please contact me AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I will send follow-up information with additional information regarding the status, practice schedules and other pertinent information.
