Neva Shudak obituary

The St. Albert family mourns the loss of Neva Shudak. Neva was a St. Francis graduate (before St. Albert existed), she was also a very proud St. Albert Mom & Grandma to many over several decades. She was a devout and active Catholic in her Corpus Christi Holy Family Church community over the years. She joins in heaven her husband & American hero, Frank (Judy) who passed away earlier this year. Please keep the entire extended Shudak family in your prayers this Thanksgiving week and please pray for the repose of Neva's soul...

Neva L. Shudak, age 93, of Council Bluffs, passed away November 16, 2018, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.
Neva was born May 18, 1925, in Neola, Iowa, to the late Martin and Edith (Stoker) Burke. She graduated from Council Bluffs St. Francis High School in 1941. Neva married Frank G. Shudak on January 3, 1948, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. They were blessed with eight children. Neva was a homemaker and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Altar & Rosary Society.
In addition to her parents, Neva was preceded in death by her husband, Frank G. Shudak on May 24, 2018; granddaughter, Lauren Moore; daughter-in-law, Jan Shudak and 6 siblings.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Albert Educational Foundation or Holy Family Catholic Church.
