St. Albert lost a 2-1 decision against Red Oak Saturday afternoon but had a big day nonetheless.

Sophomore hurler John Madsen had a great game for the Falcons giving up only one hit on the day.  Even though the Falcons managed to outhit the Tigers 6-1, they could only muster one run behind an RBI single from Ben Whelan.

However, St. Albert did manage to have a special day.  The Baseball Program honored Bob & Susan (Duggan) Sulentic for a very generous donation they recently made to help renovate Chuck Wolever Field.  They are both graduates of St. Albert Catholic.

Skip & Honey Yates were also honored for their very generous donations of time, treasure, & talent.  They were extremely involved in the day to day renovations at the complex.

And finally, the 1996 State Championship Baseball Team was in attendance & honored on their 10 year Reunion.  Players & Coaches that were there included: Jason McGruder, Jake Driver, Tony Leick, Charlie Narmi, Chad Schoening, The Ben Koch Family, Dr. Ryan Stuntz, Nick Lownes (who came from Texas), Eric Janecek, Mark Mortensen, Dean Gray, Mark Phelps, Assistant Coach Chad Kavars, Assistant Coach Greg Gentile, Assistant Coach Gary Rindone, & Head Coach Ken Schreiber.  Those that were unable to make it were: Blanchard Johnson III who is currently living in California, Dana Schwartz who recently had knee surgery, Matt Heenan who is serving our country in the Marine Corp, Neil Yeoman who is serving our country with the Navy in Iraq, & Matt Hughes.
