Lewis Central’s Jackson Allmon has been in this spot a time or two.

Competing at the state meet his freshman season, Allmon finished eighth in both the 200 and 500 freestyle races. As a sophomore, he was once again eighth in the 200 freestyle and came in fifth in the 500. Last season, he was second in the 500 freestyle and third in the 200.
