One bus, two meets

The St. Albert Boys Track Team ran split squads at 2 different meets Thursday. The Cheesewagon dropped the varsity off at the Tiger Classic in Griswold then headed north so the JV could partake in the Atlantic JV meet. After the JV meet concluded, the bus swung back by Griswold and picked up the varsity members. It may not be ideal but it gets the job done...
At Griswold, the Falcons finished in 7th place, only 7 points out of 4th. They were lead by So. Tony Knotek's runner-up finish in the 400 (53.24) and So. Zac Butcher's 3rd in the 200 (23.79). Other notable performances included the Medley's 3rd place finish, Knotek's 5th place Long Jump of 19' 3, So. Bryce Kinard's 6th place and PR in the 3200 (11:16), Sr. Chad Pearce's 6th in the 100 and Jr. Doug Moran's PR best throw in the Shot Put of 42' 3 and 6th place finish in the 200 (24.7).
The Atlantic JV meet also had some nice performances by SA, including So. Matt O'Malley's 2nd place finish in the High Jump (5' 10).
