Five evenly matched boys cross country teams. Only two would be announced as state team qualifiers.
Everyone knew third-rated Nodaway Valley (48 points) had won the boys team title in the Class 1-A state-qualifying meet Thursday at the Lake Panorama National Golf Course, joining the Griswold girls as champions.
