Big 3rd inning propels Falcons

St. Albert used a big 3rd inning to beat Riverside 11-1 in 5 innings. The Falcons led 3-1 going into the bottom of the 3rd and then exploded for 7 runs in the 3rd and added one more in the 4th to get the 10 run decision.
Freshman, Jake Petry, pitched 4 solid innings for the Falcons and then was relieved by Junior, Jim Hawk, in the 5th. Sophomore, Hooch Johnson, had 3 RBI's to pace St. Albert at the plate. The 2nd ranked Falcons move to 9-1 on the year and now head to Des Moines this weekend for the Dowling Catholic Classic.
