Danville’s running drills may win games – but they don’t earn fans.

Top-ranked Danville raced to a 68-39 win over Council Bluffs St. Albert on Monday in a Class 1-A state boys’ basketball quarterfinal at Wells Fargo Arena.

The team improved to 26-0 this season. The toil of practices packed with sprinting helped make Danville a well-conditioned team.
