Moments after Saturday's Class 1-A substate final at Abraham Lincoln High School, St. Albert senior Connor Thomas took a moment to reflect.
Thomas, who played his freshman and sophomore seasons at A.L. before transferring last year to St. Albert, had just finished a 23-point, six-rebound performance that helped the Falcons to a 68-56 victory over West Monona that put them in the state basketball tournament for the third time in the last four years.
