Falcons take down East Mills

Clearly, St. Albert has taken a liking to the most important part of the season.
After a dominant win over Heartland Christian to open the postseason and a surprisingly easy triumph last week at Riverside, the Falcons stayed hot Tuesday night with a 59-49 victory over East Mills in the Class 1-A District 1 semifinals.
It was St. Albert’s third straight win after finishing the regular season with a 9-10 record. It also puts the Falcons (12-10) into the District 1 finals, where they will meet Treynor Thursday night in Neola.
