It wasn't pretty, but after shaking off some rust from the holiday break the Saintes held on for a 42-39 win over Underwood.  The girls started slow in the game, but came on strong in the 3rd quarter.  Then, with several opportunities to put the game away, they struggled to convert free throws.  Still, they hung on for the win and now have a record of 6-2.

The scoring leaders for this contest were Kylie Ferguson with 13 and Nicole Rollins chipped in with 10.  Next up for the Saintes is Fremont-Bergen on Tuesday at Saint Albert.
