Amen Name: Jack Donald Brown Dates: Birth date: November 04, 1926 Death date: December 15, 2011 Obituary: Jack Donald Brown, age 85, passed away December 15, 2011, at Bethany Lutheran Home. He was born in Bartlesville, Okla., on November 4, 1926, to the late JB and Lila Marie (Hodges) Brown. He served in the Merchant Marines from 1944-1946 and the US Army from 1946-1947. He worked as a Distribution Manager for Kraft Foods for 32 years retiring in 1982. Jack was united in marriage to Bonnie L. Halling on November 21, 1953. He was a member of the Baptist faith, Odessa Missouri Senior Center. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, golf, traveling and, most of all, his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mabel; and wife, Bonnie in March of 2011. Survivors include daughter, Patricia (Leon) Dwyer, of Council Bluffs; son, William (Tanya) Guy, of Beaumont, Calif.; grandchildren, Melanie (Walt) Thomas, Terri (David) Montague, Lonnie Dwyer, David (Trena) Guy, Darin (Sylvia) Guy, Diana (Wade) Sharbono; 12 great grandchildren; nephew, Bill Brown; great niece, Lila Norris, and her children in addition to cousins. Memorial service Sunday, 1:30 p.m., Bethany Lutheran Home. Inurnment will take place later at Memorial Park. Family will direct memorials. -ARCHIVES- |
