Obituary:
Carolyn J. Hannan believed in angels all of her 64 years on earth. She had her shopping angel, parking angel, etc. In the early hours of Sunday, December 11, 2011, she joined the angelic host very suddenly and unexpectedly. Now we have an angel to watch over us.

She was raised in Oklahoma City and came to the "frozen north" to attend Creighton University where she received a B.A. in English. She continued her education at Oklahoma City University receiving an M.A. in Educational Counseling. She held various jobs in education at Creighton and Iowa Western. She was a para-educator at Woodrow Wilson at the time of her death. She also spent several years working at Dillard's with her shopping angel working overtime. She was very active at St. Patrick's Church and spent many years preparing couples for marriage. She married C.R. (Chuck) Hannan at St. John's on the Creighton campus on May 31, 1968.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, James and Patricia; and niece, Lauren Chambers.
