Wow, what a week the Dance Team has had.  First, they treated the  large St. Albert crowd on Tuesday night to a magical Christmas performance, featuring special guest, "Santa", senior Chad Pearce. Their routine was done to the Mariah Carey hit, "All I Want For Christmas Is You" and featured a kick line formation called a pinwheel.  It was heartwarming for the ladies to see their many younger fans lined up on the floor to see their routine. They would like to thank Chad for his fine performance as Santa! 

Did you happen to be at the Creighton men's basketball game on Wednesday night?  If not, you missed a memorable evening as our team put on a spectacular performance for the crowd of over 12,000.  It was reported that the crowd that night was the 4th largest for a regular season game.  The girls helped cheer on the team, sitting on the court in front of the Blue Jay student section, provided the half-time entertainment and were invited to help out with some of the contests such as the shooting games and also threw t-shirts into the crowd.  In fact, wasn't that senior Katelyn Crouch carrying the SlimJim sign? Their new blue costumes and silver poms sparkled on the large screen and they were shown often.  What an opportunity for the team and St. Albert to shine, and shine and sparkle they did!

The ladies and coach Kathie Guinan are off now for a well deserved rest, but will be back to perform on January 5th at the boys basketball game against Roncalli.  They would like to thank you for all your support this year.  Until next year.....Merry Christmas and keep dancin!
