The St. Albert family is saddened by the loss of Dwight McClure who passed away this week.  Dwight & Gloria's children graduated from St. Albert between 1970 & 1982.  Please keep the entire McClure, Mescher and Stokes families in your prayers this week and please say a special prayer for Dwight as well...

Eternal rest grant unto Dwight O Lord: And let perpetual light shine upon him.

Dwight L. McClure, age 87, passed away September 16, 2018, at the Oakland Manor.

Dwight was born September 6, 1931, in Malvern, Iowa, to Dale and Faye (Alexander) McClure. He was united in marriage to Gloria Kertell on July 21, 1951, and so loved their 6 children; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Dwight grew up on the farm and dearly loved the farm life. He served in the National Guard for four years. He later owned and operated two Gas Stations and a Towing Business called McClures Sudden Service. He then went on to Barber School and worked for many years as a Barber at Offut AirForce Base. He eventually owned his own shop in Council Bluffs. Dwight enjoyed spending a wonderful 44 years at the family cabin that he built with family and friends at Oakwood Lake in S.D..

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Faye McClure; son, Dwight Lee Jr; brother, Keith; sister, Dorothy Thompson; and brother- in-law, Floyd; nephew, Gary McClure.
