Dear Friends...

The Iowa Catholic Conference has advised that the bill to allow Education Savings Accounts (ESAs) will go to committee next Tuesday (March 3). This is the time to contact your state legislators if you support ESAs and the benefits they will provide families.

The issue is moving in the right direction and we are optimistic the legislature will take action this year.  Below is a link to the Action Alert page of the Iowa Catholic Conference website supporting the issue. There is a sample message available on this site for both the Iowa House and Iowa Senate.

The best way for you to show your support is to contact your state legislators - they need to hear from and know how families in their district feel about the issue.
