Dr. Izzat Jabro obituaryPosted: 07/13/2017 - by Charlie NarmiThe St. Albert family is saddened by the loss of Dr. Izzat Jabro who passed away at the end of June after a 30+ year battle with Parkinson's disease. Dr. Jabro and wife, Widad, immigrated to America and eventually left a lasting imprint in the States while producing one of the more impressive families in St. Albert history: Linda - 1981 (Doctor of Pharmacy), Mark - 1983 (Doctor), Gina - 1985 (Doctor), Don - 1987 (Hedge Fund Manager), Anita - 1991 (Registered Nurse) and Ramsey - 1992 (Former CFO & Current App Entrepreneur and former stalbertsportsfan March Madness Champion). Please keep Dr. Izzat's wife, Widad, and the entire extended Jabro family in your prayers at this time and please pray for the repose of Dr. Jabro's soul... Amen Dr. Izzat Hanna Jabro Izzat Hanna Jabro was born February 10th, 1932 in Tel Kaif, Iraq to Hanna Monsour Jabro and Misco Hermes. He graduated from the Royal College of Medicine in Baghdad, Iraq and received his Doctor of Medicine degree on June 20th, 1955. He practiced in Iraq prior to his marriage to Widad Hanoodi on February 4th, 1962. After their first daughter was born Izzat took his family to the United States to further his education at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Upon completion of his education they settled in Council Bluffs, Iowa where Izzat practiced as a pediatrician at Cogley Clinic until he retired in 1985 after developing Parkinson’s disease.
