The St. Albert family is deeply saddened by the passing of Connie Kennedy who passed away on Monday.  Connie was a proud St. Albert Mom and Grandma and a devout Catholic & supporter of St. Albert Schools. Please say a special prayer today for the repose of Connie's soul and please keep Connie's family in your prayers at this difficult time...

Eternal rest grant unto Connie o' Lord: And let perpetual light shine upon her.

Constance Ann “Connie” Kennedy, age 74, passed away January 8, 2018.

Connie was born February 2, 1943, in Omaha, to the late Leo P. Welch and Adeline (Temme). She graduated from Mount Loretto High School and attended Wayne State, and worked for Crestline Pipe Co. Connie is a member of Corpus Christi Church and sang in the Risen Son Golden Chorale.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Dwayne “Cece” Kennedy; father, Leo P. Welch; mother, Adeline Tisher and her husband, Cortland Tisher; nephew, Josh Brown.

Survivors include daughter, Denise Olson and husband, Eric; granddaughter, Lauren Olson; grandson, Nolan Olson; sisters, Judy Taylor and husband, Larry, of Green Valley, Arizona, Cyndi Brown and husband, Bob; brother, Steve Tisher and wife, Kathy, all Council Bluffs; nieces, Jen Brown, Jessica Chapman; nephews, Steven and Ryan Strong; great nieces and great nephews.

Recitation of the Rosary on Thursday, January 11th at 6pm at Cutler-O'Neill Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home & Crematory in Council Bluffs at 545 Willow Avenue with a visitation with the family to follow. Mass of Christian burial on Friday, January 12th at 11am at Corpus Christi's Queen of Apostles Church.  A luncheon at Queen of Apostles will follow the service.  Burial will then be at Memorial Park in Council Bluffs.
